Safe/Haven: Gay Life in 1950s Cherry Grove – VIRTUAL VERSION AVAILABLE HERE

Cherry Grove Archives Collection is proud to announce our upcoming photography exhibition, Safe/Haven: Gay Life in 1950s Cherry Grove, at the Stonewall National Museum – Wilton Manors Gallery in Wilton Manors, Florida, curated by Susan Kravitz and Brian Clark. The exhibition will run from February 21 – May 24, 2020. Opening night reception with curator’s talk will be held on Friday, February 21, from 6 – 8 p.m. The gallery will be open on Sunday, Feb. 23, until 5 p.m., for those who would like to visit the exhibition after the APCG out-of-town in-town luncheon that day. Exhibit is free, donations welcome to benefit the Cherry Grove Archives Collection.

 

UPDATE: As of March 14 2020, Stonewall Gallery on Wilton Drive remains closed until further notice due to the coronavirus outbreak. Cherry Grove Archives Collection has produced a Vimeo virtual version to compensate for the interruption.
