Since opening for business in 1971, CJ’s has maintained a year round presence on Fire Island with few interruptions. Denial of an over sand vehicle permit application now threatens to change all of this, striking a chord of empathy among the residency who are presently experiencing challenges of their own in this arena with Fire Island National Seashore.
Gather at CJ’s Restaurant and Bar for some holiday cheer, followed by old fashioned caroling at the Ocean Beach Village Green, with potluck dinner to follow at the Ocean Beach Fire Hall at Bayberry & Bay Walks. Everyone is encouraged to bring a covered dish. All are welcome!
